Native STEM Portraits: A Longitudinal, Mixed-Methods Study of the Intersectional Experiences of Native Learners and Professionals in STEM (NSP for short) with a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded project which launched in September 202. This five-year project investigated the lived experiences of Native individuals in STEM higher education and careers. The project team primarily focused on Native people within the following STEM areas: (1) computer science and engineering; (2) biological sciences; and (3) mathematics, physics, and earth sciences. The NSP team consisted of Native and non-Native researchers from AISE, TERC, and the University of Georgia.
