Biography

Kelly is manager of the Center for STEM Teaching and Learning (CSTL) work unit, coordinating infrastructure and communication for a diverse group of researchers and lines of work. She chairs the committee responsible for allocating TERC funds for internal pilot projects. Kelly also supports EdGE at TERC as a project manager, including educator and  research participant support, and co-designer recruitment and communication. Kelly is manager of the Neurodiversity in STEM at TERC team, helping to envision and build the project website, while continuing to moderate and provide content. She has supported the national REVISE center in a number of capacities. Kelly is a former science educator with experience with middle school, informal science, and neurodivergent students.

Outside of TERC, Kelly is mother to two children and supports Chromosome Disorder Outreach as a long-distance volunteer and advocate, helping with fundraising efforts, member communication, and graphic design. Kelly’s lived experience has enabled her to add to several ongoing conversations, celebrating stories for Autism Acceptance Month and considering autism and executive function.
