Biography
Kelly manages Neurodiversity in STEM at TERC, where she has helped envision and develop the project website and continues to moderate and contribute content. She has also supported the national REVISE Center in a variety of roles.
Previously, Kelly served as manager of the Center for STEM Teaching and Learning (CSTL), an internal TERC work unit, where she coordinated operations and communications across a number of researchers. She chaired the former committee responsible for allocating TERC’s internal pilot project funding.
Before joining TERC, Kelly was a science educator with experience in middle school and informal learning environments, including working with neurodivergent students.
Outside of TERC, Kelly is a mother of two and a long-distance volunteer and advocate with Chromosome Disorder Outreach. Drawing on her lived experience, she contributes to ongoing conversations about neurodiversity, including writing for Autism Acceptance Month and exploring topics such as autism and executive function.
