Viviana  Lopez Burgos

Biography

Over the last several years Viviana has been working with TERC as a bilingual (Spanish and English) researcher and external consultant supporting research and program activities with families across a variety of projects, including Head Start on Engineering, REACH-ECE, and Diálogos. She holds a master’s degree in Hydrology and Water Resources and has extensive experience working both as a STEM researcher as well as supporting STEM learning for children and families.

Viviana has an intuitive ability to connect with participants, bringing her lived experience as a parent and Latinx scholar to her role as researcher and family advocate. She is an invaluable partner in developing and implementing equity-oriented programs and research methods with English- and Spanish-speaking communities.
