Biography
Valerie has worked a wide variety of projects at TERC. From EMPower to iSWOOP to the Mixing in Math family of projects, design and the use of graphics to support the content are an important aspect of her work. She is always looking to make materials more accessible for a diverse audience and represent STEM content visually in audience-appropriate ways.
Valerie was instrumental in TERC ‘s recent rebranding and rollout, as well as the development of the TERC website redesign. She is also the editor for Hands On!
Valerie’s love of design extends to landscape design at her home and in the Boston area.
