Mia Ong has joined the National Academies Leadership and Advisory Committee for the Action Collaborative on Transforming Trajectories for Women of Color in Tech (LAC).
The Action Collaborative on Transforming Trajectories is a national collaborative made up of 34 member institutions from industry, higher education, and national laboratories that have pledged to support the advancement of women of color in tech. Mia is a member of the LAC’s Advisory Committee, which provides advice to the National Academies and ensures that the Collaborative’s work is grounded in research, uses an intersectional approach, and appropriately adapts and implements the findings and recommendations of the 2022 National Academies consensus study report, Transforming Trajectories for Women of Color in Tech (https://nap.nationalacademies.org/catalog/26345/transforming-trajectories-for-women-of-color-in-tech). Mia is a co-author of the Transforming Trajectories report.
