GBH and TERC Launch Early Childhood Data Science Learning Framework
GBH and TERC are proud to announce the release of the new Early Childhood Data Science Learning Framework, a resource designed to support data science learning in preschool classrooms and informal learning environments.
Developed with funding from the National Science Foundation, the framework reflects the collective expertise of more than 100 educational researchers, practitioners, curriculum developers, and media designers.
The Early Childhood Data Science Learning Framework is designed to help educators harness preschoolers’ natural curiosity and enthusiasm for data. It supports young children in beginning to see themselves as data scientists and encourages them to use data science as a lens for understanding the world around them.
