We are thrilled to announce Drs. Maria Ong, Nuria Jaumot-Pascual and Lily T. Ko received an Honorable Mention for the William Elgin Wickenden Award of the American Society for Engineering Education.
The award is for their article “Research Literature on Women of Color in Undergraduate Engineering Education: A Systematic Thematic Synthesis,” which was published in the July 2020 issue of the Journal of Engineering Education.
The annual Wickenden Award recognizes an article that represents the highest standards of scholarly research in engineering education among the articles published in the Journal in each volume year. Their article was selected by the Editorial Board of the Journal from the articles published in 2020. The selection process was chaired by Dr. Barbara Moskal, a senior associate editor of the Journal.
