Michael Cassidy, Senior Researcher at TERC, has been selected as a 2026 EDSAFE AI Catalyst Fellow.
Through this fellowship, Michael will collaborate with peers across sectors to contribute to work that ensures AI technology in education benefits all learners, work that strongly aligns with TERC’s values.
The Catalyst Fellowship is a global community of practice for educators, industry professionals, policymakers, and community advocates who want to take an active role in shaping the future of AI in education. The fellowship centers justice and learner well-being, while providing hands-on experience, learning sessions from AI and education experts, and practical strategies aligned to the SAFE (Safety, Accountability, Fairness & Transparency, Efficacy) Framework.
