TERC Board of Trustees Make Donation to Melmark New England on Behalf of Laurie Brennan, TERC President

With gratitude and appreciation for TERC President Laurie Brennan’s outstanding performance throughout these unprecedented times, the TERC Board of Trustees recently made a charitable donation to Melmark New England in her honor.

“Laurie’s dedication to TERC has always been exceptional and that’s especially true this year,” said Nadine Bonda, Board Member. “Laurie’s empathetic and strategic leadership style played a critical role in steering TERC through unforeseen challenges.”

Melmark New England is a non-profit human service provider with a premier special education school, adult day program, and residential services. The organization is committed to professional development, training, and the dissemination of research. Laurie credits the organization with supporting her son’s growth and development for many years.

“We are grateful for this donation from TERC, in recognition of Laurie’s steadfast leadership of their organization throughout the pandemic,” says Rita M. Gardner, M.P.H., LABA, BCBA, Melmark President and CEO. “Melmark shares that commitment to steadfast leadership. We are committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families by providing exceptional evidence-based services to every individual, every day. As a program that remained open providing face-to-face services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, generous gifts like these help us make our mission possible.”
