Adult Numeracy Center
The National Science Foundation (NSF) awards funding to the Adult Numeracy Center at TERC to create EMPower.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) awards funding to the ANC to disseminate EMPower through Teachers Investigating Adult Numeracy (TIAN) initiative.
ANC develops and implements the Adult Numeracy Instruction (ANI) national initiative in collaboration with MPR and CLS.
Math education meets environmental organizing.
EMPower Plus titles are developed and piloted with support from New York City teachers.
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education awards the ANC contract to manage the SABES Mathematics and Adult Numeracy Curriculum & Instruction PD Center.
ANC develops and facilitates Adults Reaching Algebra Readiness (AR)2 workshops.
Development of Curriculum for Accelerated Math (CAM) and offshoot Curriculum for Adults Learning Math (CALM).
