Call-back session: Join us for a call-back session on Monday May 18th, at 6 pm Eastern Time. Whitney Aragaki will lead a conversation about what impact the Climate and Equity Institute has had in your classes this year. A Zoom link will be sent out about a week before hand.

From Amanda Darlak: Project Drawdown. “Project Drawdown is an independent nonprofit organization driving bold, science-based climate action. Whether through systems change, individual actions, business leadership, philanthropy, investments, national policies, or international negotiations, we’re advancing science-based climate solutions and strategies around the world.”
From Kelli Grabowski: Project Looksharp is a program of Ithaca College. “Our mission is to help K-16 educators enhance students’ critical thinking, metacognition, and civic engagement through media literacy materials and professional development.”
From Carolyn Porter: “Afrorithms is a card game I played that gets teams talking about a future world and makes them consider what is important to them.” Sequoyah Wharton checked out Afrorithms during the discussion, and wrote: “Thanks for sharing this! Love it! This falls into the discussion of a book that my co-editor and I have coming out later in the year published by Routledge called The Play Advantage: Global and Indigenous Perspectives in Higher Education.“
