These games are for 2-4 players offer a variety of levels of challenge to span the whole elementary grade range. The games help players develop skills in logical and spatial thinking.
They are aligned with Common Core Math Standards for the elementary grades, with particular emphasis on standards in operations and Algebraic Thinking, Geometry, and Measurement and Data (Geometric Measurement). The games are also aligned with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Standards, with focus on content in Number and Operations, Algebra, and Geometry.
Mixing in Math Blockade and Other Games– Dry Erase Gameboards Blockade and Other Board Games was developed by Marlene Kliman, Valerie Martin, Nuria Jaumot-Pascual, with assistance from Martha Merson, and Lily Ko. Special thanks to Laura DeSantis for illustrations and to the many educators in and out of schools who provided feedback on the games.
