EdGE@TERC to Demo New Games at AAAS’ Family Science Days February 16th and 17th

CAMBRIDGE, MA– The Educational Gaming Environments (EdGE) group at TERC has been invited to exhibit at the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s (AAAS) Family Science Days event on February 16th-17th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hynes Convention Center. This event is scheduled in conjunction with the AAAS Annual Meeting, which is being held on February 14th-18th in Boston, Massachusetts.
The EdGE team will be showcasing the new “Leveling Up” science learning games—Impulse and Quantum Spectre. Visitors to the TERC booth can play the games and chat with the TERC game design team. The Family Science Days event will include interactive tabletop exhibits, science job demos, expert presentations, and more. This event is free and open to the public, but organized especially for students in grade levels 6 to 12.

EdGE at TERC is a research design and development team that is investigating the possibilities— and challenging the assumptions— of game-based learning environments.
