{"id":3071,"date":"2025-09-04T15:06:55","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T15:06:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.terc.edu\/ndinstem\/?post_type=news&#038;p=3071"},"modified":"2025-09-15T13:07:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T13:07:47","slug":"astc-annual-conference-2025","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.terc.edu\/ndinstem\/news\/astc-annual-conference-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"ASTC Annual Conference 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ibrahim Dahlstrom-Hakki, Project Investigator for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terc.edu\/ndinstem\/about\/neurovivid\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"815\">NeuroVivid<\/a>, led a hands-on demonstration at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.astc.org\/astc-2025\/\">Association of Science and Technology Centers Annual Conference<\/a> in San Francisco, September 8, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He demonstrated an activity that is a part of the project, NeuroVivid: Developing and Testing a Maker Experience to Build Interest in Careers in Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) Among Neurodivergent Youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants in this session had the opportunity to experience and learn about a simple BCI that allowed them to use their concentration to levitate a physical ball.
