First National Conference on the Educational Applications of Geographic Information Systems (EdGIS)

Electronic mapping and geographic information systems have dramatically extended the power of visualizations to convey and help interpret a magnitude of data. The EdGIS Conference initiated a national conversation about the potential of these technologies in K-12 education. This report includes current projects, key issues, technology tools, and conference recommendations.
