The Earth Exploration Toolbook (EET) project is creating a collection of step-by-step guides for educators at both the pre-college and college levels on how to use, in an educational context, various Earth system tools and data sets developed and archived by and for scientists. EET guides will help teachers and students to use these resources in other contexts and to explore and investigate issues in Earth system science. The Toolbook will be promoted through teacher workshops and presentations at professional meetings, and housed online by the Science Education Resource Center at Carleton College.
