The Climate Literacy Network (CLN) is a diverse group of approximately 90 stakeholders interested in the implementation and adoption of the Essential Principles of Climate Education. Organized and maintained by TERC, this nationally-representative group meets virtually once per week to share information on climate science and climate literacy. CLN’s activities include a sharp focus on educational contexts (formal and informal), but also include important discussions on policy decisions, impact in community groups, and ordinary citizens.
CLEAN-New England is the regional, program-focused arm of the Climate Literacy Network. CLEAN-New England is an exciting new initiative that connects high school students with college mentors around an understanding of climate change that allows them new educational and action opportunities. The programming in this initiative emphasizes how personal choices and actions directly affect the planet’s future.
